Circuit Road

This home in MacPherson pairs walnut joinery with travertine-look surfaces to create a Japandi space that feels warm without ever becoming heavy. The living area is anchored by a cream boucle sofa and honeycomb blinds that filter daylight into a soft, even glow across the room. We kept the palette to three notes: mid-tone walnut, warm ivory, and stone. The dining area uses a rounded-edge table with curved spindle chairs so the walkway stays generous, and the kitchen runs the same walnut fronts with a travertine-textured backsplash to keep everything of a piece. In the bedrooms, upholstered wall panels and wall-mounted reading sconces replace bulky bedside furniture. The result is a calm, tactile home where every surface earns its place.
