Condominium
Everything we have learned designing condominium homes across Singapore — from compact studios to executive condominiums like Bellewaters and INZ Residences, and waterfront apartments at Harbourfront Avenue. These guides cover the questions condo owners actually ask us: what a renovation really costs, how to work around developer layouts, and which styles hold up in tropical light.
MET Interior has been designing Singapore homes since 2013. We are CaseTrust-accredited and BCA-licensed, and every article here is written from projects our own designers have completed — not theory.

Frequently Asked
Common questions
How much does condo interior design cost in Singapore?
Most condo renovations we handle fall between S$30,000 and S$100,000 depending on size, scope, and whether the unit is new or resale. A new-launch condo needing mainly carpentry and furnishing sits at the lower end; a full reconfiguration of a resale unit with hacking, rewiring, and new wet areas sits at the top. We provide itemised quotations so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.
Do condo renovations need management approval?
Yes. Practically all condominiums require you to submit renovation plans to the MCST (management) before work starts, place a renovation deposit, and keep works within permitted hours. Hacking of structural elements is never allowed, and wet works are usually restricted. We handle the MCST submission and coordinate with your management office as part of every condo project.
How long does a condo renovation take?
A light refresh (carpentry, painting, flooring overlays) typically takes 6-8 weeks. A full renovation with hacking, rewiring, and new bathrooms runs 10-14 weeks, plus MCST approval lead time. New-launch units are usually faster than resale units because there is less to undo.
What design styles work best for Singapore condos?
The styles we are most often asked for are Japandi, minimal luxe, wabi-sabi, and contemporary modern — all of which suit the full-height windows and open layouts common in Singapore condos. The right choice depends on your light direction, unit size, and how you live. Our portfolio has completed condo projects in each of these styles if you want to see them applied to real homes.
