This home was designed to maximise both comfort and utility within a limited footprint. The goal was to create a cohesive space that feels open and calming, while integrating built-ins that work hard behind the scenes. We used a restrained palette of warm greys, oat tones, and matte blacks to create a sense of visual quiet. The textures are soft but structured, helping the space feel tactile without visual clutter. The TV wall and study area are framed in gentle curves and floating volumes, giving a clean yet layered look. Lighting was kept soft and directional. Integrated cove lights and shelf lamps create a warm ambient glow in the evenings, while the large window ensures that the space still feels fresh and bright during the day. Custom carpentry conceals storage while keeping everything tidy and tailored to the homeowners’ lifestyle. The bed platform and padded headboard double as a lounge area, blending living and rest zones in a seamless way. Every centimetre of the home was considered and built to serve more than one function. This space is proof that comfort and versatility can co-exist beautifully in a modest-sized home.
“We needed our space to work harder for us without feeling cramped or cluttered. The team nailed the design and made everything feel so natural. The TV wall, shelves, and study area all flow perfectly together. We especially love how the lighting was done. At night, it feels warm and inviting, almost like a little cocoon. The bed area is cleverly designed and super comfy, and we love how the whole space feels calm and balanced. It’s exactly the kind of home we wanted. Stylish, practical, and very us.”
